Registration: Farmers can apply for the Kissan Card by visiting any HBL Konnect retailer shop. They must have a valid CNIC and a registered mobile SIM against their CNIC. Farmer can also apply by self , send their CNIC number via SMS to 8070.
A SMS will received shortly providing the details of their application. In case of approval , they receive SMS to complete the below steps to collect their card.
Bio-metric Verification: At the HBL Konnect shop, farmers will undergo bio-metric verification to open a mobile wallet account.
Payment: After successful registration, the farmer will pay Rs. 500 for the Kissan Card bundle.
Card Issuance: The Kissan Card will be issued within 15-20 days and delivered to the agriculture office of the farmer’s tehsil. After verification, the farmer can collect the card from the agriculture office.
Apply Kissan Card Via SMS
- Send an SMS with the text “pkc<space>YourCNICNumber” to 8070.
- No additional documents are needed for this SMS.
- After sending the SMS, you will receive a confirmation message about your application status.
After few days if application approved an SMS alert will received , thereafter they visit the nearest Agriculture Tehsil office along with original CNIC. After verification and bio-metric Kissan Card will be handover to the concerned person.
Eligibility Criteria for Kissan Card
To be eligible for the Kissan Card, farmers must meet the following criteria:
Land Holding: Farmers owning up to 12.5 acres of agricultural land are eligible for the Kissan Card.
Mobile SIM Registration: The farmer must have a mobile SIM registered under their own CNIC (PMD Verified).
