Important Instructions for the Successful Candidates in the Green Tractor Scheme

The Punjab government has introduced a transformative initiative for farmers, the Green Tractor Scheme, aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity and providing financial support to those in need. Under this scheme, 9,500 farmers will each receive a subsidy of one million rupees towards the purchase of new tractors, enabling them to cultivate their lands more efficiently.

Recently, the Chief Minister inaugurated this initiative with a personal inspection of several tractor models, even taking one for a test drive and expressing enthusiasm for the program’s impact on local agriculture.

For instance, Mohammad Yasin from Okara, Talib Hussain from Chakwal, and Ghulam Akbar from Dera Ghazi Khan were among the first beneficiaries.

The scheme has dedicated specific tractor allocations for different districts, including 339 recipients in Okara, 111 in Chakwal, and 276 in Dera Ghazi Khan, to promote balanced development across Punjab’s agricultural regions.
